Aix-en-Provence

Provençal lifestyle, Cézanne's footsteps & central parking

Our Trip

Aix-en-Provence is a charming city in the South of France, known for its rich history, cultural diversity, and Mediterranean climate.
The city has a long tradition dating back to Roman times and impresses with magnificent historic buildings and squares. It is closely linked to art and literature – especially through the painter Paul Cézanne, who was born here.
Aix-en-Provence captivates with its lively café culture, small boutiques, and a first-class gastronomy scene that celebrates typical Provençal specialties. All in all, a wonderful destination to experience Southern French flair and history.

About the Pitch

Parking Carcassonne (Aix-en-Provence)
Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
Overnight Stay: tolerated
Fees: Free
Sun Exposure: Morning sun

Infrastructure:

  • No infrastructure available (pure parking lot)

Description:

The parking lot is just a few minutes' walk from the historic city center and is easily accessible even with children. Along the way to the old town, there are numerous refreshment options and bakeries.

At night, however, some drivers used the parking lot for loud maneuvers, which unfortunately meant the night was not very restful.
