Description:
From the village of Le Brassus, a steep mountain road leads up towards the Col du Marchairuz.
Just before the restaurant at the highest point, there are numerous parking bays on both sides of the road. In winter, the pass is a heavily frequented starting point for cross-country skiers. The best way to secure a good, free parking spot is to arrive early. A real highlight is the approximately 1 km long toboggan run, which leads directly through the snowy forest.
Important: For the steep pass road in winter, be sure to carry snow chains in your vehicle.
