Wilderness Camping in Finsterwald (Entlebuch)
An idyllic getaway spot right on the Emme River for the whole family
Our Trip
We spent two wonderful nights at this idyllic, nature-embedded pitch. The site particularly impresses with its direct access to the refreshing Emme River. Due to the cantonal fire ban and the ongoing heat, open-fire grilling was unfortunately prohibited during our stay. However, this did not dampen our spirits: the children could romp to their heart's content in the adjacent forest and explore the untouched nature.
After a lovely, absolutely child-friendly hike to Restaurant Gfellen, we treated ourselves to a well-deserved refreshment with delicious ice cream.
