Winter Camping on Gurnigel-Rüschegg

Sledging, Campfires and Enjoying Nature in the Gantrisch Region

Our Excursion

The Gurnigel-Rüschegg parking lot has become one of our absolute favorite places to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether covered in deep snow or during the transitional season – our son Louis loves this place above all else.

When we're not chopping wood together and building a cozy campfire, we're immediately drawn to the sledding slope. Just above the parking area, there's a charming little restaurant and a manageable slope that's ideal for sledding.

For families with younger children, this compact ski area is a real highlight: thanks to the baby ski lift, the little ones can learn their first turns in the snow here in a relaxed and playful way.

The location is also an excellent starting point for wonderful winter hikes in unspoiled nature – one beautiful tour, for example, leads directly to the picturesque Gantrischsee.
