Legoland & Pepa Pig Park

Legoland Günzburg & Peppa Pig Park

Experience report and pitch review for the campsite at Legoland Feriendorf

Our Trip

We spent 3 days in Günzburg: 2 days at Legoland and 1 day at Peppa Pig Park. On Saturday and Sunday, the park was quite crowded, but on Monday, Peppa Pig Park was almost empty, allowing us to stay on the rides multiple times in a row.

The first highlight of our trip was already on the way to Legoland, crossing Lake Constance by car ferry. Louis was thrilled and completely fascinated.

The park, including the campsite, is relatively expensive. It takes about a 15-minute walk from the campsite to the main entrance of Legoland. For Peppa Pig Park, a short drive by car or bus is recommended. Our tip: Plan your visit to Peppa Pig Park on your departure day. You can either book a late check-out or move directly to the on-site car park in the morning (parking is included with the park ticket). For us, the shuttle bus was also free to use.

The campsite and the Legoland Feriendorf offer children a wonderful world: many lovingly designed themed areas and great playgrounds.

We cooked our own meals on-site. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Description:

Very large campsite with automatic check-in and check-out; everything is handled easily online. You choose your pitch yourself upon arrival. Disadvantage: During peak season, you might drive around the site several times until you find a free pitch.

You should carefully consider whether you want to visit the park on your arrival day. We lost about two hours searching for a pitch. Check-in is officially possible from 11:00 AM.

Tip: On the day of arrival, it's better to settle into your pitch at leisure and enjoy the playgrounds in the holiday village, then start fresh in the amusement park the next morning.
