Camping on the Ranch: Animal Encounters and Adventures for the Whole Family
Our Trip
We spent a night in Eigeltingen to experience the versatile ranch and its impressive variety of animals up close. The campsite is simply organized and operates on a "first come, first served" basis. The pitch fee can be conveniently paid at the hotel reception.
An absolute highlight of the facility is the animals roaming freely: from sheep and goats to llamas and chickens, everything is represented and can be experienced up close.
The leisure activities on site also ensure that there is no boredom – you can ride, quad bike, try archery and much more.
The farm's own restaurant offers really good food in terms of taste, but it charges accordingly for this quality. For our budget, it was a bit too expensive in the end.

Description & Conclusion:
The pitch itself is beautifully located and offers a great starting point for visiting the park. Since the animals roam freely on the premises, animal droppings on the meadows are unavoidable, which can be a bit unusual in some places.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to bring cash! Tokens are required for the various attractions and must be purchased directly at the corresponding machines. No cash can be obtained at the hotel – the next opportunity to do so is at the Sparkasse in the village.
