The Sofirn IF30 mounting adapter allows you to securely and flexibly attach your Sofirn IF30 flashlight to a backpack, climbing harness, or tent using a webbing sling, paracord, or carabiner. Designed for demanding applications where the flashlight must not slip.

🔧 Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions ▾
Follow these steps to mount the adapter cleanly and without damage:
- Unscrew the end cap: Unscrew the rear end cap (tailcap) of the Sofirn IF30 to slide the adapter onto the battery tube.
- Align straight: Place the PETG-CF ring straight against the edge. Make sure the adapter is not angled or wedged at an angle.
- Push forward evenly: Push the holder forward with even, firm thumb pressure to the desired position on the housing.
- Reinstall the end cap: Screw the end cap back onto the flashlight finger-tight.
- Attach the sling / carabiner: Thread your desired webbing sling, paracord, or carabiner through the mounting loop.
⚠️ Important Note on Fit & Assembly ▾
Please note before assembly:
- Deliberately tight tolerance: To prevent the heavy flashlight from slipping in rough terrain, the ring has an exact, tight clearance.
- Patience when threading: Sliding it over the flashlight tube requires some force and straight guidance. Avoid wedging it at an angle.
- Not a PPE component: This adapter is intended exclusively for carrying and attaching the flashlight as a piece of equipment and is not approved for personal safety applications.
